The generation, manipulation, transport, storage and disposition of
type 3 wastes is under the orbit of Law 11.720
and its prescribed Decree 806/97.
Since 1998 there are registries of generators,
carriers and treaters in Buenos Aires Province Environmental Policy
Secretary.
Generating, carrier and treater enterprises radicated
in Buenos Aires Province must be inscribed and renew anually the
Certificate of Special Rating give by the Aplication Authority.
Apart from documental presentations, it is a requirement
to complette an Special Wastes Operations Registry sign by a
responsible professional.
Those wastes derivated from a recycling
site conviniently inscribed are not considered in the concept of Special
Wastes rate for the generator.
